The questions
We're being laid down. often.
Design, manufacturing, deadlines, prices, CSR, delivery... Ask your question, we have the answer - or we write a new entry if it is not there.
Start a game project
Before the briefing, the briefing, and everything that happens during the design.
How does a first meeting go?
You will describe your need (objective, target audience, desired format, time or budget constraints) in video or by phone. After 30 to 45 minutes, we will send you a report and, if you wish, a first indicative estimate.
Can you accompany me from the game design?
Yes. Our team is accompanied on the aid of game mechanics, the construction of rules, the clear-intuitive creative advice and the playful design for your educational or marketing issues. We can start from a blank page or come back to a project already initiated.
What if I have only one vague idea?
It's very good. We're used to turning a business intention ("to make our teams aware of cyber risks", "to make our values live in a seminar") into a practical game mechanics. The first appointment is for this purpose.
Do you make prototypes before production?
Always, as soon as there is a practical issue. The prototype allows to test the mechanics, adjust the rules, and validate ergonomics before starting manufacturing. Several iterations are possible in the design package.
What are your preferred areas?
Four major segments: creative (Bayard, Hachette), educational (National Education, associations), serious games (RH, coaching, training), immersive (attractive parks, escape games). But we also work for CES, events, CSR, internal communication.
Are you working with big accounts?
No, we also work well with startups, associations, training organizations, communication agencies or communities. Our small run (from 50-100 e.g.) make custom products accessible.
How we produce
Sites, machines, know-how, finishes available.
Where are your production sites?
We have two EU production sites: our historic headquarters in Brittany (Essentials, since 2019) and our factory in Angoulême, Charente (opened in 2024). 100% Made in EU, from brief to delivery.
Do you work on small run or only large quantities?
We are specialists in small and medium series for niche sectors. From the test model to the large series and the prototype, we adapt our production to your real need.
What printing techniques are used?
Depending on the print, we use digital printing (ideal for small run, prototypes and customizations) or offset printing (for medium and large series) (more about our print a game across Europe) We choose the technique that offers the best rendering/cost for your project.
What finishes do you propose?
Matte or glossy coating, selective varnish, hot gold, embossing, shape cutting, textured paper finishing. We also offer eco-friendly finishes: recyclable filming, aqueous varnishes, recycled paper.
Can you make cards, trays, dice, pawns?
Yes for everything that is paper/card (cards, trays, booklets, boxes) (more about our playing card manufacturer in EuropeFor components made of wood, plastic or fabric (dis, pawns, bags), we work with qualified French partners.
Do you perform assembly and kitting?
Yes, assembly and kitting have been carried out by our partner ESAT since 2021. It is a structural social commitment that becomes a valuable reference in your CSR reports.
How much, how long
The questions we're asked first - and that's normal.
What is your standard time frame?
Count 4 to 6 weeks between the validation of the brief and delivery for standard production. Faster possible for prototypes (1 to 2 weeks) or with priority slots (depending on availability).
What is the price of a custom game?
The price depends on the size, quantity, finishes and complexity of the components. A detailed estimate is free within 24 to 48 hours after receiving your brief - material, shaping and logistics are distinct for transparency.
Is there a minimum order amount?
No, we work on series from 50-100 copies for production. For unique prototypes or limited series, we adapt to your needs.
Do you accept the purchase orders for public procurement?
Yes, we work regularly with communities, schools, hospitals, public structures. We provide all the necessary administrative documents (KBIS, RIB, certificates, CSR card, ESAT partnership).
What are your payment terms?
30% deposit on order, 70% on delivery for first projects. For recurring customers or public structures, payment 30 days end of month on invoice.
Are there hidden fees?
No. Our value is transparency: material, shaping, logistics, creative advice, technical fees (calage, BAT) are all distinct in the estimate. No extra charge is added after validation.
Security, certifications, compliance
Everything we guarantee - proofs to support.
Are your games in compliance with the EN71 standard?
Yes, our entire production complies with the EN71 standard (toy safety), even for games that are not intended for children - as a precautionary principle. We work with plant inks and our eco-design approach is integrated into the whole chain.
What are your papers?
We work with a wide range of sustainably managed forest paper. Depending on your project, we offer recycled paper, coated paper, textured paper or creative paper, printed with plant inks.
Are your inks green?
Yes, our inks are vegetal, based on renewable oils (lin, soy), they limit the environmental impact, reduce VOCs (volatile organic compounds) and facilitate the recycling of paper at the end of life.
How is the quality of the games controlled?
Multi-step control: BAT (good to pull) signed before printing, validated production sample, 100% visual inspection on assembly, random control before shipment. Nehemiah controls internal compliance.
Can you provide technical data sheets for my tenders?
Yes, we provide all certificates and certificates on request: EN71 compliance, ESAT certification, product origin card, CSR card, certificate Made in EU.
Your commitments, our evidence
CSR, ESAT, Made in EU, transparency - how we make them operable for your reports.
What is your CSR approach?
Since 2025, CSR has been fully integrated into our strategy through a dedicated position. We work in partnership with a ESAT for assembly and shaping (1st convention in 2021), we limit transport by remaining 100% Made in EU, and we support inclusion and territorial valorisation.
Is the ESAT partnership worth the money in my legal obligations?
Yes. When ordering from Craft Your Games, part of your order finances assembly hours by people with disabilities. This is valuable in your AGEFIPH (Disability Law) statement and in your CSR/extra-financial reports.
Are you a mission company?
Not formally (no legal status "business at mission" to date), but we operate with a reason to be displayed: "To support our clients in the realization of an ethical and eco-designed game: from the traceability of materials to territorial valorization, from skills development to support to inclusion."
Can you give me a carbon balance?
For large or recurring orders, we provide an estimate of carbon footprint (material + transport). This is integrated into our CSR approach driven by a dedicated post.
Are you doing greenwashing?
No, and that's exactly what distinguishes us. All our commitments are verifiable: factory visits to Angoulême on appointment, detailed quote line by line, ESAT convention, traceability of plant materials and inks. Our business value is to play the game of transparency.
Logistics, Inventory and shipments
How your games get where you need them.
Are you delivering abroad?
Yes, our shipments cover France, Europe and the world. We work with qualified French carriers and we manage all the export logistics (custom documents, adapted packaging).
Can you handle my stock for me?
Yes, for recurring or important series. We store your production and trigger shipments on demand, based on a forecast schedule or ad hoc orders. Ideal for SSCs, recurring events, annual training.
Do you make custom packaging?
Yes, it is one of our specialties. Gift sets, event kits, custom packaging, unit packaging with personalized labelling. Ideal for CSEs, seminars, trade shows or customer activations.
Are there hidden delivery costs?
No, the shipping costs are indicated separately in the quote (material / shaping / logistics are separated). You know exactly what the transport costs and can choose the delivery method.
What happens if there's a delay?
We immediately warn with a clear explanation and a proposal for a solution (early delivery of a part, partial express shipment, etc.). It is in our value of transparency.

Is my idea of gambling confidential?
